Part of the legal and psychological process in Colombia is a necessary background check/criminal record search including a sex offender registry. This can often be done at a local police station or there are online methods; we must have this on file to proceed.
Is surrogacy legal in Mexico?
With a new Supreme Court decision in 2021, surrogacy in Mexico is now one of the best options globally for singles and couples of all sexual orientations seeking to have a family through an affordable and legal surrogacy arrangement.
In June 2021, the Supreme Court of Mexico ruled just that, that discrimination against foreigners and different family types was indeed unconstitutional. This ruling from the highest court in the land forms the basis for legal surrogacy.

Please note that there are 2 agreements generally signed in most countries. One is a financial or service consulting agreement. The agreement is signed between the Intended Parents and the service provider. There will be another agreement that the intended parents sign directly with the surrogate mother and this agreement is prepared by our lawyer along with other legal consultations, before, during, and after the baby’s birth.
